Communication Form
During the summer holidays The Bright Futures Trust  implemented a new IT system, it has caused a few teething issues which we are currently working through and we thank you for your patience.

One of the issues has been with parents not receiving emails. A yellow form will have gone home with your child/ren today. Please complete this even if you are receiving our emails. Communicating with you all is vitally important for us and we want to check that every single parent and primary carer can receive our emails. To help us please can you fill out one form per family, (both sides) and return by Monday 3rd October.
Please know that if ever you need to email the office the address is still: admin@stjohnsknaphill.co.uk

Residential Meeting Year 4&6

Thank you to the parents who attended the zoom meetings about the residential trips for Years 4 and 6. Please bear in mind that we are still finalising costs and will be writing to you after half term.

Flu Immunisation Deadline
The deadline to sign- up your Reception to Year 6 child/ren for the Flu Immunisation is Monday October 10th. The nurses set this deadline to allow enough time to order the vaccine in. They request that if you have not done so yet you take the time to complete their permission form- even if you do not wish your child to receive the vaccine. This will help the nurses as they are required to contact all the families that they have not heard from. An email was sent today with the nurse’s letter along with tips on how to complete the e consent form.
The vaccine will be administered by the nursing team Wednesday 2nd November

Farm Visits
Mill Farm will be coming to visit our school on two days this academic year – Wednesday 19th October and Wednesday 17th May. The animals will be coming with the farmer in the morning and staying on our field all day! These visits are for the whole school and nurseries to enjoy.

Bikeability
If you have signed up your Year 6 child for Bikeability next week, please make sure that their bike is in correct working order and remember it is school policy that every child wears a cycle helmet.
You may leave your child’s bike overnight at school at your own risk. Please use the bike shelter near the Raglan Road gate and use a lock for safety.
